I've coached several actors auditioning for the Center Theatre Group's upcoming production of The History Boys, about students applying for Oxford and Cambridge. The accents they've learned are Yorkshire or Received Pronunciation (RP), or a Standard English accent.
My past acting and directing experience uniquely qualifies me as a dialect coach: not only can I guide you in the subtleties of a new accent, I can also help you explore sound possibilities within the character's given circumstances.
