'"THREE OF THE MOST PROMINENT ROLES IN ART SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL ARE FILLED BY BRITISH BORN THESPIANS (COACHED BY JOEL GOLDES) USING IMPECCABLE AMERICAN ACCENTS."                                                                                          -- REELVIEWS

I'm coaching the Pasadena Playhouse production of Orson's Shadow. The production features actors playing Orson Welles, Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh, Joan Plowright, Kenneth Tynan and an Irish stagehand, so I'm coaching English accents as well as modified Mid-Atlantic for the Welles character. The cast includes Sharon Lawrence, Charles Shaugnessy, Bruce McGill and Scott Lowell.

I taught an introductory workshop on Received Pronunciation (RP) to approximately 125 members of the Screen Actors Guild, through their LifeRaft series. Upcoming workshops for members may include Learning the General American Accent and Learning Arabic Dialects.

I had an ADR (Automated Digital Recording) session with English actress Julia Ormond for her role as Abigail Breslin's mom in HBO Film's Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.
